Wish Week
Wish Week was a huge success! Thank you to everyone for supporting our wish week events. We exceeded our goal of raising $8,000 dollars and we ensured that Caley’s wish for a hot tub will come true. We will be donating over $10,000 to the Make A Wish Foundation.

Student Council Elections
Elections will take place on Tuesday, May 1st. A mandatory intent-to-run meeting will take place in the forum on Tuesday, April 17th at 7 am. All interested candidates must attend this meeting. Elections will be held for class officer and student body officer positions. Students who have been active members or officers in student council are eligible to run for an office position.

Prom Package Raffle Tickets
The band is selling prom raffle tickets during both lunches through April 20th. Download the pdf for more information.

Art Attack
The 3rd Annual "Art Attack" is the week of April 17 - 21. Please come join us in celebrating our talented Arapahoe artists at the Awards Reception on Tuesday, April 17, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the Theater Hallway. Awards will be given in twelve different categories in addition to Principal's Choice, Superintendent's Choice and Board Members Choice. The Art Department, on behalf of all of our Arapahoe artists, thank the PTO for sponsoring this annual event and providing awards for outstanding work. We truly are an Arapahoe family!

Continental League Art Show
Excellent artwork from high school students in our Continental League, which includes 14 high schools, will be on display at the Curtis Art and Humanities Center, located on 2349 E. Orchard Road in Greenwood Village. The show runs April 19 - 28, 2007. A reception for the artists and the public will be on Thursday evening, April 19, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Don't miss this show of excellence!

Department Spotlight – Media Center
The library has begun a project geared to support reading and promote literacy by creating personalized “READ” posters. The hope is that over time, all staff members will be pictured with a book of their choice. The book might be a personal favorite, a title that began their love for books and reading, or a book that represents one of their interests. Posters will be displayed not only in the library but throughout the school.
