Informational Meeting about Taking College Courses at AHS
Attention sophomores and juniors! Are you interested in taking college courses next school year while you’re still enrolled at AHS? If so, you must attend a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, February 28th during first or second lunch in the forum. Please see your counselor if you have any questions!

Department Spotlight – Technology Education Department
The Technology Department is in full swing for the spring. We will be breaking bridges, racing CO2 racecars and flying planes this spring. The new equipment and computers in the Tech Lab are up and running with students designing house floor plans, web pages, creating mechanical CAD models, digital commercials and programming robots. All of the computer programs found in Tech Studies use industry-standard software and state-of-the-art equipment. What a great opportunity for a high school student! Come and see the new lab.

The student club, Technology Student Association, is gearing up for the state competition in April. TSA members will compete in Bridge design, CAD drafting, Architectural models, Prepared Presentation, CO2 Dragsters, and in many other technology related areas. Good luck to all of the students competing this spring.
